Lynda Gilmore

Lynda is a trainer and presenter that teaches small business operators about how to get the most out of their website through a serious of seminars that are held frequently around Sydney & NSW Regional areas.

Each year Lynda is actively involved in Small Business September, a NSW Government initiative that provides seminars and workshops all over the state. In 2010 Lynda was also a trainer on the Small Business Online program a Federal Government Program initiated as part of the National Broadbrand Network rollout to regional Australia. As part of this program Lynda provided training workshops to small business owners all over the Central Coast region of NSW over a Period of 18 months.

Lynda has a passion for small business and for 2 years, on a voluntary basis, sat on the board of Basi, the Business Advisory Services Inc. that provide small business advice to small to medium enterprises. She is currently the secretary of the Western Sydney IT Cluster, a not for profit organisation sponsored by the NSW department of Industry and Investment.

Lynda Gilmore, initially trained and qualified with a BSc. in Medical Technology and Computer Sciences, Lynda, worked in the laboratory environment for eight years before venturing out into sales. Starting out in pharmaceutical sales and then moving into medical diagnostic sales where she first met Michael some 20 odd years ago. During her career, Lynda has worked locally and internationally in sales and Marketing.

Due to family commitments Lynda left the medical areas and started her own technical publishing business which she ran for 12 years. It was through the publishing business that Lynda gained her website development and graphics skills.

Lynda's all-round business skills put her in an excellent position to assist you with your individual business requirements.

Michael Shearer

Initially trained and qualified with a BSc. in Medical Technology, Michael worked in the laboratory environment for eight years before venturing out into medical diagnostic sales. From here, Michael worked his way up through the ranks of Sales Management and held position of National Sales Manager for an international Medical Diagnostic company,Organon Teknika Pty Ltd. Michael eventually became the Australian Managing Director of this company. His last position before becoming involved with WebLinx Marketing was as the Australian Managing Director of another international biotechnology company, Miltenyi Biotech Pty Ltd which he took on as a complete start-up operation and proceeded to grow the business and develop the team for 4 years.

Michael has worked his way through his business career from the ground up with a lot of hands on experience and brings a wealth of knowledge to the WebLinx Marketing group. As one of the principle consultants for WebLinx Marketing, Michael is more than capable of relating to our customers business requirements and would be more than happy to sit down with you for an informal chat regarding your business objectives.

Michael has also mentored business owners through several of the NSW Department of Industry and Investment, "Women in Business Program" and the "Young Entreprenuers business development program".
